Veljko Popović graduated painting at the Art Academy in Zagreb in 2004. In 2005 he co-founded Lemonade3d studio specialized in 2d/3d computer graphics, which was later re-branded as Prime Render Studios. He has been a member of numerous film festival juries and has screened his films at all the major film festivals around the world. His films won over 70 international awards including those in Annecy, Hiroshima, Animafest Zagreb, etc. In 2008 he became a tenured professor at the Art Academy in Split. His works include 2d animation, 3d animation, virtual reality experiences and augmented reality pieces spanning from classical works screened at movie theaters to expanded cinema and gallery exhibited art pieces.
