Overview
BAP Animation Studios is a small Portuguese studio based in Porto that has seduced audiences and juries at animation film festivals around the world in recent years, winning multiple awards and, above all, conquering our hearts with its unequivocal artistic and independent vocation, and its example of good practice.
Founded in 2018 as an autonomous cooperative by Rodrigo Areias, David Doutel, Laura Gonçalves, Alexandra Ramires, Vitor Hugo Rocha and Vasco Sá, it has not only produced its own works but also helped to execute the works of other artists and filmmakers, bringing together a collective of directors, animators and scriptwriters who believe in the power of collaboration.
