Begoña Vicario is a teacher at the Fine Art Faculty of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), and also a director of animation short films such as “Pregunta por mí” (Ask about me), “Haragia (Flesh)” o “Beti bezperako koplak” (Couplets of an everlasting eve), this one on distribution right now. She has achieved some important prizes for her films and also written several books and many articles, all of them on experimental animation.
Kristina Zorita is an experimented audiovisual journalist and blogger. She is currently covering mainly cultural news at EUSKAL TELEBISTA (the Basque Public TV) and writing a blog on cinema at the EITB.eus website. She is vicepresident of HEMEN HERE, an association promoting the work of women in the audiovisual. Director of two short films and producer of two others, Kristina has been a member of the jury at the Hendaia Film Fedtival.
Sébastien Sperer joined the Annecy International Animated Film Festival in 1999 when he was in his early 20s. He is now one of 3 programmers at Annecy. Since Annecy abolished its Preliminary Selection Committee in 2012, Sébastien is in charge of selecting films that would compete in major categories. He is also a programmer for ‘Le Forum Blanc’- the annual international appointment for exploring the development of multiplatform projects through case studies, workshops and debates- which is hosted by CITIA, a parent organization of Annecy’s Organizing Committee.
